Femi Oladehin is a Vice President and the Managing Director of BGL Ltd. He is a professional accountant with over 15 years cognate experience in finance. He holds an MBA from the University of Benin and is also an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). He joined Asset & Resource Management (ARM) in 1995 as a fund accountant but later moved to the Research Unit as a research analyst with responsibility for Nigeria, Asia and Europe and global currencies. Whilst at ARM, he headed the Risk Management and Infrastructure and Structured Finance Unit, Investment Management and Research unit and Infrastructure & Structured Finance Unit.

He was in charge of the team that was selected by the Government of Lagos State for the implementation of various toll road projects across the metropolis. Christened the ‘Lagos Infrastructure Project’ – the project is identified as one of the single most important initiative of the government to date with implementation set for the final quarter of 2005. The project was nominated for and won the ‘deal of the year 2004’ by Thisday newspapers.
Femi joined Stanbic Bank Nigeria in 2006 as a Director and Head of the Project & Structured Finance Group and was responsible for providing strategic direction for the banks’ project and structured trade finance teams and was part of the team that concluded some award winning transactions including one of the more successful privatization vehicles in Nigeria

His last role prior to joining BGL was at Rand Merchant Bank (RMB) as Director, Investment Banking – Africa with a brief to help RMB grow its African initiative given RMB’s philosophical change in approach to investments which places a premium on equity opportunities.
