Femi Lawal is a Senior Associate and works in the Structured Finance Division. He graduated with a degree in Agriculture and also has an MBA both from the University of Ilorin, Kwara State. Femi had over twelve (12) years working experience in the Consulting industry, seven (7) of which were spent at PricewaterhouseCoopers with key emphasis on statutory reporting and business advisory services, investigations as well as business process reviews of top tier organizations.
He was also responsible for Business Strategic diagnostic reviews and Strategy formulation and implementation, preparation of budgets and budgetary estimates, financial statements analysis and systems mapping.
As Regional Advisory Services Coordinator of the International Finance Corporation (IFC), Femi developed detailed designs and work plans for Advisory Services Initiatives in the region on all the major sectors. He was also responsible for the close coordination and the leverage of resources with other IFC Advisory services units including regional sector leaders and global line leaders. Some of his other key achievements include playing a key role in the building of ‘The Nigeria Advisory Pipeline’ as well as the Development of a 2-3 years Advisory Services Pipeline
for IFC Nigeria. He was also instrumental in the development of a 2-3 year joint investment advisory strategy for IFC Nigeria, this initiative won Femi a Spot Award.
Femi has attended several courses at home and abroad including the Bonds and Fixed Income – Euro money Financial Training in the UK, the Anti-money laundering/Combating financing of Terrorism course and the IFC New Anti-Corruption and Anti-Fraud System. He has as his interests traveling and listening to different genres of music.
