MR. WALE OLUWO (Group Chief Marketing Officer/Managing Director, Investment Banking Group). Wale has a B.Sc. (Economics) from the University of Lagos, and is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. Prior to joining BGL, Mr. Oluwo worked with Prudent Bank Plc (now Skye Bank Plc). He was the pioneer General Manager of Intercontinental Capital Market Limited-a wholly owned subsidiary of Intercontinental Bank Plc. He was at various times the Group Head of the Investment Banking and the Energy and Telecommunications Groups of Intercontinental Bank Plc. He was at a time the Group Head, Corporate Banking and Corporate Finance of Continental Trust Bank Limited (now UBA Plc). Other banking institutions where he worked include, First City Monument Bank, FSB International Bank (now Fidelity Bank) and Prime Merchant Bank. He has attended various corporate finance, portfolio management, and management and development courses at the New York Institute of Finance, GIBBS in South Africa, and Citibank School of Banking
