Dr. Chris Omeruo (Managing Director, BGL Private Equity Limited): Chris is currently a Vice President within the BGL Group. He has three degrees; B.Sc Accounting from University of Port Harcourt, Port Harcourt, Master of Business Administration from University of Nigeria, Nsukka and Doctor of Philosophy in Business Administration from United Christian University, North Carolina, USA. He has attended international courses such as Euromoney courses in Corporate Finance, Corporate Recovery & Turnaround Strategies, Investment Banking and Project Finance Modelling. Prior to his joining BGL, Chris worked with Credit Swift Limited, Lagos, as the Group Head, Institutional Financing. He has also worked as a Co-Founder/Senior Analyst for Chrico Consulting, and also worked at Cosmopolitan Bancshares Limited and Continental Merchant Bank Plc as Fund Manager and an Analyst respectively. He has spent over seventeen (17) years in Investment Banking experience and has special focus on turnaround management schemes. He is an authorized Investment Adviser & Portfolio Manager (registered by the Securities and Exchange Commission).
