Tamunoye Zifere Alazigha is a Vice President and Head of Corporate Strategy. He graduated from the University of Benin with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He also has a B.Sc in Financial Economics from the London Metropolitan University, as well as an M.Sc from the John Cass Business School, London in Mathematical Trading and Finance. He is currently enrolled at the New York University’s Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences for an M.Sc/Phd in Finance and Investor behavior. Prior to joining BGL, he has over 15 years work experience in core investment banking in first-rate institutions in the United Kingdom and United States of America including
Deutsche Bank, New York, J P Morgan Chase, New York, The Fuji Bank, New York BNP Paribas, New York National Westminster Bank, and the London National Westminster Bank, London.

Some of his career highlights include playing a lead role in the Analytics/Risk Management, Performance Attribution and Reporting of aggregated portfolio structures including Convert Arbitraging, Merger Arbitraging, Macro/Micro Funds, Long/Short, Capital Structure. Arbitraging and Strategic Arbitraging for Prime Brokerage Hedge Fund clients whilst at the National Westminster Bank, London.

He also Researched and implemented hybrid models (Equity-Credit-Interest Rate) for derivatives valuation, Market/Credit Risk Quantification, Potential Credit Exposure, Equity, Fixed Income and Credit Spread Exposure/Sensitivity computation, ‘what if’ Scenarios and VAR/Position limit utilization reporting for Hedge Fund Clients.

Prior to joining BGL Plc, Mr Alazigha was Director of Quantitative Research at US Trust, Bank of America – Global Wealth and Investment Management, New York, where he played a key quantitative role in the portfolio allocation and management of $52Bn portfolio of client’s assets. He researched and implemented mathematical and statistical models for developing capital market assumptions on risk and return for different asset
classes including Hedge Funds, Private Equity and Structured Products.
