Mr. Teddy Okumakube holds a Bachelor of Science (Ed) in Economics and an MBA specializing in International Business. He is an Associate member of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN).

He has over Fifteen (15) years experience in the Financial Services sector which span through Auditing & Investigation, Public Sector Advisory, Corporate Finance, Project Finance and Management, Portfolio Management, Investment Advisory and Business Development. Teddy has attended several local and international courses including the Euro money programmes in Oil, gas and power project financing, investment fund strategy, financial modelling, an IBFC Agusto training on financial analysis and investment advice, a Dale and Parker/Brain Tracy international training on personal effectiveness and performance enhancement, and a Securities and Exchange Commission course on understanding capital market rules and regulations.

Prior to joining BGL Plc, Teddy Okumakube worked with D.O. Dafinone & Co. now Dafinone Howarth and Partners (a firm of Chartered Accountants). He is currently an Assistant Vice President and Head, Business Development, South-East and South-South regions
